This ongoing report shows the status of Institutional Citations in the various stages of the process, updated frequently by IEEE History Center staff. Citations are listed with their docket numbers. The IEEE Region and the sponsoring organizational unit are shown in parentheses. Please note the titles given here are shortened or working titles, not the full or official titles. While in the approval process, proposals have a History Committee advisor assigned to them (initials used to protect confidentiality).

In the case of inactive Proposals, i.e. proposals which are incomplete or have had no new material added to them for a period of a year, the advisor will email the proposer(s) to advise that the proposal will be deleted from the Status Report unless there is activity within the next month.

C. UNDER ADVISOR AND/OR INDEPENDENT EXPERT REVIEW
C.1. PROPOSALS SUBMITTED AND AWAITING ADVISOR DECISION
Advisors shall complete the review of milestone proposals within six months of submission of the proposal, except in cases where an unusual circumstance or major obstacle arises. Within 2 months, advisor works with proposers to select independent expert reviewers and to make sure all materials submitted are complete; within 4 months, advisor receives expert reviews; within 6 months, advisor completes review and recommends History Committee action.
Advisors are responsible for following up with the reviewer to ensure reviews received on schedule when reviews have been received.
Proposals whose reviews or advisor decision are overdue will show their docket numbers in red.
